This month we bring you local designer Korrin Lohmann. Korrin will present on her submission
to this year’s Lifecycle Building Challenge, a Green design competition encouraging innovations in residential and commercial buildings, as well as
in developing reuseable building products.

In conjuction with this topic, we will be covering a current design
competition sponsored by the Twin Cities’ own Permaculture Collaborative, a grassroots network of individuals interested in furthering Urban Agriculture, Organic Polyculture, and a variety of related issues. The
competition is titled ‘Trellis About It’, and asks participants to build a
vertical support for growing vine crops in small, underutilized spaces.
